KATIE SEELEY: HOST

 

Katie is an LA-based, Canadian actress. She has many credits to her name and has co-starred alongside Josh Lucas, Raven Simone, Lucas Grabeel and Thomas Horn, to name a few. She earned a minor in theater from the University of Florida and has continued her studies on the west coast at Lesly Kahn & Co., Howard Fine Studios, and IO West Improv. She has been fortunate to film in such exciting locations as Louisiana, Alabama, Florida,British Columbia and California. She can't wait to see where the future will take her!

TODD STROIK: HOST

 

I'm Todd and I am the Executive Producer and Co Host of this wonderful new series. Originally from the midwest, Todd resides in Los Angeles and is currently writing the new Broadway-style musical "Gods and Mortals" with his best friend, composer Paul Anthony Romero. He is featured in other webseries including "Dating in the Middle Ages," "Gamergirl", "Child of the 70's" and "Knock Knock". CARI KABINOFF: HOST

 

As an actor, writer, and comedian, Cari is excited to help produce and co-host this wonderful series. After studying Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies at UC Berkeley, Cari moved to Los Angeles to continue her career in entertainment. Cari can be found in other web series including "Lytpon Station," "Conversations with Future Stars," and (coming very soon) "Burns." ABBIE DE VERA: SEASON 1 DIRECTOR

 

Abbie has performed in productions at The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC where she grew up.  She studied theater and film at Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in, London, England.  Abbie has been a Los Angeles and San Francisco actress for the last thirteen years, where she has acted in numerous independent films that have appeared in Film Festivals all over the world.  Abbie has also taught, produced and directed theater and film.  In 2011, she produced, wrote, directed, acted in and cast 44 actors in a web series called The World of Holly Woodlands which was an Audience Choice Finalist at the 2011 New Media Film Festival.  She is currently producing two pilots.  Abbie is thrilled to be a part of the Casting Couch and is inspired by each guest who has generously imparted their own wisdom and experiences, in hopes of enlightening other actors out there who are in different stages of their own careers.

  

TRAVIS BECKER: SEASON 1 DP

 

Travis Becker ran a successful video website, SeattleArt.org, before Youtube even existed, making 100s of videos featuring artists and bands. He went on to work as a manager of the multimedia department in the largest production facility in the Pacific Northwest, Victory Studios (Clients included: Rick Steve’s Europe, Microsoft, Starbucks, Seattle Seahawks, Boing).

 

Today Travis is living in the heart of the entertainment industry, Los Angeles, where he applies those many years of broadcast production experience in film, TV and the web, including music videos, commercial promos, multiple web series, shorts and feature films, green screen and beyond.

 

While his primary focus is in the camera department (as a DP, cinematographer, and steadicam operator) he also works as a set production assistant, gaffer, and grip and has a broad range of equipment to fit any production.
